Hi

Well the title says it all. I am looking for the best/effiecient helpdesk/calldesk software around. It is for a call centre going up soon and we (about 5 people) will mainly deal with end users, logging calls/problems and then also if the software could be integrate with a Asterix server or pabx for later use. Had a looked at HEAT, ACACIA, SUGARCRM etc. So if anybody has any recommendations please let me know.;)

Thanks....

We use HEAT. It's not bad, just frikking expensive. You're looking at around R13k per annum per client license for simultaneous logins, and you probably need to pay for the various modules too, so you're looking at a huge capital outlay. I'm pretty sure there are better and cheaper systems out there.

CA Unicenter's helpdesk. Possible to integrate to just about anything.

If you've got an Asterisk VOIP enabled PABX/Call center, then there's quite a few open source Call Center Managements softwares available. I use Asterisk GUI Client (http://sourceforge.net/projects/astguiclient/) in one of my call centers (I have Interactive Intelligence (http://www.inin.com/) in the other, which I'm looking to phase out in Q2 this year) and it really is pretty cool. It includes the VICIDIAL inbound/outbound call center application.
