Hi all,
It always seems to be an easier task to complain than to praise, and I have no doubt that many complaints about MTN are real and are often a pain in the b***. No-one is however perfect, and I am sure that most would agree with me. This post is however a praise, and a well-deserved one!
I had some issues recently with an MTN upgrade, to cut a long story short, the store staff gave me incorrect information about the contract that was recommended to me, especially regarding the rules around migration. Thankfully, people like Snakepit and Somayya (she is part of the Hellopeter team) came to the rescue, and swiftly resolved the issue and we were able to reach a mutually-acceptable arrangement.
I read so many negative posts on this forum about MTN, and honestly, I am so sure that many (if not all) can be resolved with a little patience and of course speaking to the right people. After all, the MTN staff on this forum (and others like Hellopeter) are humans just like we are, and if treated with respect, will go out of their way to help. This is true of Snakepit in this case, and some of the others like Pitbull and Clive (MTN_Data_Dude) that has helped me many times in the past.
Well done Snakepit & Somayya, keep up the good work. Your efforts are appreciated!
