Huawei announced at the beginning of July that its new EMUI 9.1 operating system upgrade would begin rolling out for selected devices.

The OS update includes a host of new features, including the third iteration of Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology, which improves gaming performance while reducing power consumption.

I'm using a Nokia and have been on the latest for months now. Dark mode works only in a select system apps like messaging but weirdly enough it's not in the settings app, theres an option to toggle a dark theme but it doesn't register for the sys app

I'll then wait 6 months before Vodacom releases to P20 Pro users I had to use Firmware Finder just to get 9.0 but Firmware Finder has stopped working so now I must wait...impatiently

1. Android 9 is suppose to have dark theme from the menu - no tinkering with themes.
2. Been there done that. I've wasted too much time trying to find a real dark EMUI theme which changes all the menus. Instead they only change some of the stuff but the main menu is still unchanged.
