I really wonder why we bother debating with the PC crowd.

Steve Jobs: CEO of the Decade. Fortune magazine.
Steve Jobs: Best Performing CEO in the World. Harvard Business Review.
Steve Jobs: Person of the Decade. Wall Street Journal.
Apple: Brand of the Decade. Adweek's Best of the 2000s.
Steve Jobs: Marketer of the Decade. Adweek's Best of the 2000s.
"Get a Mac": Campaign of the Decade. Adweek's Best of the 2000s.
Apple Releases iPhone: Top 10 Tech Stories of the Decade. CNN.com.
Apple: Company of the Decade. Om Malik.

And then the following words appear:

"The Personal Computer: Invention of the century"
"Bill Gates: The man that gave away more money to the poor, than what Steve Jobs earned"

Steve Jobs really did an amazing job with Apple in the naughties. Add to that the amazing success of Pixar and he's definitely CEO of the decade.

Never thought Apple would see such success, especially when you compare to what happened in the 90's. NeXTSTEP was technically impressive but a total failure, but it's back in a big way! ;D

Tim Berners-Lee developed HTTP on a NeXTSTEP.

True dat. Doom was developed on a NeXTSTEP as well, and quake was partially I think.

And iTunes Store runs on WebObjects, developed by NeXT
