I'm not sure why so many people, including the press, refer to these actions as a 'protest'. As far as I'm concerned it's a riot and should be dealt with accordingly.

The latest discontent is apparently due to their 'leaders' being held pending court action, which I believe is scheduled for Thursday.

A leader of the land protests was arrested last week. They want him released and will riot until he is.

Some serious schit going on at the moment. Live feed on facebook on this guys page. He's on the mountain a the moment and he has a seriously good view of what's going on.

Large crowds in Mount Pleasant on the move. Quite often the malls on either side are closed but the main concrern is that the R43 has been blocked and is closed also. That is the road that connects my sons school to my house. Quite a few cars have been damaged recently when the R43 has been invaded.
 
Ok, so they call them the "Generals", holding locals hostage. Now if the locals know this, howcome they cannot be isolated by the police special units, and get behind the destructive-Piggybacking with protesting about problems, capulted between towns as required by whoever control the generals.
 
And why isn't there an investigation into who these generals are and taking them down from within? That's quite frankly the only way to deal with this.
