Hetzner unveils new hosting hardware

super pleased with Hetzner.

We signed up in March. 30day setup, only billing from April.

Back then it was 200gigs bandwidth on their dedi servers. Our target was about 350gigs. Expecting to pay in a difference. 2 days before month end they double the bandwidth. Zero pay in. Saving us over R1000!

Today we get the mail, dropping our server bill by 1.1k.

Fantastic service from them.
 
unfortunately they are still too expensive for me

How is an E3 1220 is a higher spec than 2x E5520?
That is a massive downgrade and you're actually paying MORE if you compare the price of a dual socket e5520 out of the box vs a single socket e3 1220
