I've been struggling with international download speeds for a while now. Fist it was about 3 Weeks ago and was sorted after 4 days, now again since Thursday again.
Even though I show the agents that:
1. Local upload and download is fine.
2. International Upload is fine.
3. Packet loss internationally is fine.
4. Jitter internationally is fine.
5. A history of the tests I autmatically run every few minutes / hour (speedtest) logged to a db.
Why do they always give me lame excuses. Based on the above it is obvious it is not my line.
So far they has sent the issue to Vumatel, Vumatel has come out and send it back to Afrihost.
I've been told I need to reboot my router / ont
Plug my pc directly into the ont
Do speed tests wired and wireless.
Change dns settings.
Outages are blamed
........
The list goes on.
Do your agent not realise if someone knows what packet loss / jitter etc. is that they have probably checked if the issue is on their end?
Very ****ing Frustated
