must be not having to take ANY responsibility for your own life when everything can be blamed on Apartheid. it would be stupid to assume Apartheid did not affect the life of a lot of people but, the ANC could have done a lot more for the poor instead everything is blamed on Apartheid.

If no rules or laws have been broken, then I suggest that the laws be changed.

Many of them are stupid. They're duped into voting ANC time and time again with things like last-minute food parcels and endless empty promises. Then, after elections they scratch their heads wondering why none of their wishes came true and then resort to breaking and burning everything in sight. Rinse, repeat since '94.
As for this:
Spot on. There's never any outrage over things like this. People like siphox and isede (or whatever he's decided to call himself these days) will justify it with anything and everything under the sun. Actually, to his credit, siphox doesn't necessarily agree with this sort of spending but he always maintains that some justifiable reason will be forthcoming from those responsible.

Come on you'd have to be really stupid to think apartheid didn't cause most of the poverty in the country. We literally ignored the majority of citizens for years? Not that it's an excuse for the situation we have today with government, but Mamajyot never said that (I hope).

Yea, Apartheid caused a lot of k@k but uh.... how long has the ANC been in power? You would think that after near on two decades that things would be better for the man on the street instead of worse. At least going by the promises made by the ANC.
The only onse benifiting from the New SA is the ANC government, as evidenced by this thread.

Well ye, that is what I said too.
But I don't see how almost everyone posting here can try to negate a simple statement like "poverty caused by Apartheid". It's dead obvious.. the fact that we aren't fixing it is a different issue.
