HGST hard drive warranty

Hi all,

I have a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive that came out of a PS4 Pro, it's manufactured "02DEC16" - who in Cape Town deals with the warranty of these drives?

HGST is part of the WD group.

It used to be the case that the correct channel for that is the IHV, in your case Sony. You'll only know that when you contact the OEM directly and they look up the serial number to see what the warranty channel is.
