No it hasn't... it alleviates it for the house itself for the possible duration of LS if the house has enough battery backup to be totally self-sufficient for that duration.
Dude the link he sent literally says this

Well I mean he has no technical background at all, his knowledge of electricity seems to come from watching a few youtubes on why wind and solar are good, nuclear bad.

It seems to be the new in thing these days...

Make pronouncements on Eskom and become Energy Expert.

Wouldn't trust this idiot to plug in a USB C port the right way up.

If you want the sniff test for any "energy expert" it is their stance on nuclear energy:

You see, providing cheap and clean energy via nuclear energy to everyone would hamper the "just energy transiton". These monsters want people to be poor.
People will be poor regardless. Fossil and nuclear is dead, people must get over it. As for "just transition". That is just an "unjust transition" to make the haves pay more so that piggies can eat.

So @Jan can you start calling myself and Wingnut, Speedster energy experts :-P I mean seems just about everyone is called it now.

It seems to be piped in straight from the wef agent running him. Or he just went ahead and ate the bugs all on his own already.
