Highveld (Centurion) Mobile Data issues

All of a sudden today my data seems to be connected, but not connected, if that makes any sense. No sign on the signal bar of bad connection, and it still has the H next to it. But when I try to visit a site, or send Whatsapp messages, the + sign next to the H doesn't appear, and the site times out or Whatsapp messages go through only once Cell C decides to wake the f up.

Also proof of this is long periods of "Phone not connected" on Whatsapp for web.

Anyone from Cell C who can elaborate on this please? Really frustrating.
