Nice! "Shoot to kill" should come first. F**K bringing them to justice so they can serve a 2 year prison sentence. Shoot to kill should apply to all crimes and i'm sure many criminals will think twice :D

Yeah, remember that next time you're speeding. . . .

That guy has been practicing at the range for a moment like this.

Practice makes perfect I guess. ;)

Hmmm, 3hrs into this post and no carebears have responded yet?

Where are all the 'It was a human life, eat veggies to save the Moo Moo's?' posters?

Nevermind a medal, pay the guy for a job well done.

Its sad that we have come to this point when we celebrate that a criminal is shot dead. It shows how low public confidence is in the local police and legal system. I am also gat vol that the crime rate is increasing a the govment is doing nothing about it.
We live in a depraved society.

Hope the reservist won't land into any trouble.

Two unlicenced firearms? I am not surprised.
The police have said he won't be charged. Seems there is a different law for policemen. Civilians would as a matter of course have a docket against them opened.

Despite this, he did a remarkable job and thankfully no bystanders were hurt.

pity they didn't live for a few minutes, there are so many things i'd say to the guys face as he lay there dying

Reminds me of the two hijackers who tried to hijack a member of the SAPS Task Force....

What happened to them?

There was mention on 702 eye witness news that a father and his daughter had been wrongly accused of and arrested for an attempted hijacking. Now no one is disputing the hijackers probably got what was due but what if the cops made a mistake?!! mmmm.... I would hate to be on the wrong end of that decision...
