Hillcrest area Durban: no service

Telkom say the exchange is kaput, been down since midday.

Hillcrest area. My line has been down since last week Thur (4th Sept) Just so happened that the line has been down since it got transferred to Afrihost. Been told it is an exchange fault, and area is effected. Anybody else confirm this? I stay near the Old Main Road/ Kassier Road area.

Time you moved from that nice little house of yours then. My connection is fine complex near Camelot well it was when I left this morning, maybe go ask Martin East what they have broken on Inanda Road...

Close to me, mine has been fine although they only put it in on Friday.

I'm actually in Gillitt Road, which is just off Old Main, just before Kassier, so hopefully that construction by Inanda has nothing to do with it. Pretty sure our exchange is right outside our complex. When Telkom came to install the line, they guy was just walking back and forth to it, so must be pretty close. Strange thing is I has connection up until I got the notification that line has been transferred. Since then, nothing.

We just moved into our new place too! Not that I would move just for an ADSL line.

Ah close to me, Sneeky lives down Inanda Road thats why I said he should check with Martin East, like i said mine was working this morning before i left for work.
