Yes, yes, I am alwas a sucker for these things!

Bought a bottle at the Food and Wine Show last year. It is said to have the following health benefits -

- Improves skin, bone and joint health
- Balances body's PH level
- Balances blood pressure
- Restores electrolytes

:D:D:D

Is it that salt thing that burns with a lamp?

Then... isn't it just salt? All those benefits would be gained from just plain salt anyway.

Apparently not. This is organic salt.

Yes, they got on the 'green bandwagon' and making money out of me in the process :o

Organic salt? NaCl? Salt is inorganic by nature.

Well you need salt in your diet for this, so it's not a total lie. Cheap table salt from the supermarket will have the same result.
- Balances body's PH level
er... no.
- Balances blood pressure
If you suffer low Bp, salt will increase it. If you suffer from high BP, I can't see how it will help.
- Restores electrolytes
Particularly Sodium.....

I use that salt but I do not buy it in a bottle mine comes in bags and it is as good. It does not have all the additives that your regular table salt has and I would recommend that you do more research on the internet before saying that the Himalayan salt is just regular salt.

salt? should we even be adding to food, considering salt content of most foods?

Himalayan salt is not NaCl... its NaCl plus a few other salts...

The salts in the himalayan salt is the salt that is not in our normal diet...

The little natures choice packet says... "take one teaspoon solution in the morning first thing"

Although the himalayan salt doesn't taste like normal table salt oh and its got no iodine in it (unlike normal table salt)
