HIS vs VTX3D Radeon HD 6850

I'd just check warranties, but as far as I know they should be about the same.

EDIT: going off the pictures, it seems that both cards have center mounted fans which means heat will be exhausted within and out the case. I would venture a guess that the his will dispell more heat out the case, but the egg cooler of the vtx3d might be quieter.
However I do stand to be corrected..

* HIS Graphics Card
* CrossFireXTM Bridge
* Power Cable 2x 4pin in, 6 pin out
* DVI-VGA Adapter
* Install CD with Multilingual User Guide
* Quick Installation Guide
* HIS Power Up Label

vs

Accessories
# DVI Dongle
# Manual

i would go with HIS

The extra accessories the HIS card has will just be collecting dust. My main concern is cooling, I would like to do some overclocking. But I can't find any concrete information.

I would imagine neither card boasts better cooling, just pick one and run with it.

If you are looking to overclock look at brand that has a different cooler on it but it will cost more so the cost won't be worth it.

Personally I wouldn't OC either :p but I doubt you'll notice much difference between the two. Have you googled the extent to which people have OC'd these 2 particular cards?

I'm not afraid of overclocking, although so far I've avoided touching voltages. I couldn't find anything to compare the cards properly which is why I asked here.
Well I suppose I'll just save a few bucks and get the VTX3D one. Less accessories mean less junk for me.

Let us know how it goes, stock temps and then OC temps at idle and load :) be the first to give people some reference :)

vtx3d 2 years warranty.

his 1 year.

nuff said go vtx3d.

LOL I love these smart comments that are wrong :D
It says 2 year warranty on the box..

I bought that exact HIS and loving it :D BFBC2 runs smoother than my 5850.
