Hisense 32" LCD TV

I'd rather spend the extra R299 and get the sinotec or even better an extra R1000 and get a samsung/sony.

I got a 42" Hisense. Actually 2 of them and they work like a dream. Their products are pretty top quality if you ask me.

Have you seen the difference between A Hisense and a Samsung?
Why do you think Sony/Samsungs are more expensive? Because of the name?

Going down to take a look now..
But take a look at the link, for this sets features. It KILLS the Sony and Samsung

Yeah it does...

I'm also tempted to go and have a look myself since I'm thinking a 32" Full HD monitor would actually work quite nicely for photoediting on my PC...

yeah we need ppl who actually own the products to comment...its lame how many ppl comment on something theyve never owned or seen.
my Sinotech 42' obviously cant compete with the big name brands but for the price and quality its shown so far its been awesome.just a pity on the gaming because of the refresh rate.....

they're all made in china, chances are same factory too :-)

Engine makes a big diff. For example Samsung makes panels for Sony, same factory, same panel - but Sony makes its own engine to drive it. And obviously they make a uber engine cause their LCDs are cool.

I know people with Sinotec's and HiSense who have full HD's and are happy as pigs in mud. I have a Polaroid, and too am happy.

hmmm. no i think u need higher than that for proper PC usage on an HD panel?

Ok I got it.
Can't imagine being happier with a TV. Has every connection type possible.
Im blown away with the HDMI signal from my dvd player.. picture perfect.
And I was impressed by the USB player.. just plugged in, browsed through the files, and played a divx without any hassle.
SOLD

I've looked at Full HD 32" sets and HD Ready ones and I honestly cannot see the difference.

Maybe your eye's? C'mon there is a big difference!

That pic is in no way accurate unless they are saying the 720p screen is cr@p (that 720p pic looks like really bad SD), on a 32" you would need to sit super close to the screen to see any difference

Exactly and even then, I really looked hard to see a difference but I couldn't see any.
