So i've played this game for quite a while now but now Steam is being a b!tch.

The error I get is this:

This game is currently unavalible.
Please try again later

Steam says it's 100% ready so I'm not sure what's up:confused:

And yes, it's original;)

I have had this often with CSS, just shut down STEAM and fire her up again. Normally works for me.

didnt know people played this with BF2 around

Still play some BF2 but it's nice to have a new game for a change ;)...although this will probably change to CoD2 when it comes out.

EDIT: Well I've deleted my clientregistry.blob file and Steam is updating now.

Shut down Steam.
Go into your Valve\Steam folder, and delete the file ClientRegistry.blob (or rename it if you prefer.
Start Steam up again, and voila. Problem should be solved.

I occasionally see that Steam reckons all my games need to be installed. Deleting that file usually solves it.

Didn't you see my edit?;)

The only problem is that I deleted the .blob file before I shut-down Steam. However it did the updating thing but it still didn't work:mad:

Nope. Probably opened the thread before you edited ;)

Bugger. Make a steam backup, uninstall steam. Delete the whole valve folder, re-install steam, then run the backup executable.

See if that works. Major schlepp, but it's worth a shot, cuz valve support takes about a month to get back to you.

Also maybe try the forums at www.steampowered.com
