i think that telkom should give 384 to 192 users , 512 to 384 and 1024 to 512 WITHOUT a price increase.

Then they should bring out a new 192 line out for very cheap so that the average person can afford it

Just looking at the last post...

I'm not sure what hardware Telkom installs to make an exchange ADSL compatible BUT... seeing that the line rentals differ according to the speed of the ADSL line, are we to believe that it actually costs Telkom more to maintain a dsl192 port than a dsl512 port???

Cause the way I see it, when one changes from a dsl384 port to a dsl512 port, I don't think Telkom actually adds any new hardware!!! ................ or do they???

Stuff telkom... because of them, am still on 56K dial up. Sigh.
