Holding pool/migrating pool

Hi , another stupid question but really annoyed with mweb and telkom.
I started with Axxess that does have great service , but they cannot take control of the line because its used by another isp.

Mweb claims now for a week its been cancelled and they submitted the forms to openserve to move the line to the holding pool, so telkom must sort it out, service has been cancelled

Called telkom , they say the line was not with them so they cannot assist me , i must call mweb , its the same story .

If i cancelled the line , who has the line, what must i do , i have been calling them both now for a week and no one can move the line . After 5 days the line should end if im correct then ill be without internet
 
MWEB is lying. Moving lines into the holding pool can take as little as a few hours, and moving it to another ISP can happen in a few days. See if you can escalate your issue with MWEB to someone higher up the chain. If you can't do that, submit a complaint to ICASA today, with supporting documentation that shows MWEB's incompetence.
 
I have been calling since last Tuesday , late yesterday i phoned and they yet again told me its Telkoms problem as the line is not active with them anymore , im really disapointed to know there is people so incompetant that has no idea what they are doing . Ill file the complaint quickly but 5 days now more or less so pretty sure ill be without connection soon not sure how long it will take for activating the line again
 
Okey so called mweb , talked to a Anisha , she sorted it with in 5 minutes . She said its been submitted and in the pool since the 3rd , after more than 10 calls the last week . Now waiting for openserve to migrate the line
 
It's sad that you have to go through multiple people to find the one person competent enough to service your request, but that's how customer service in large corporations has evolved into.
 
I also moved to Axxess about a Month ago. As it's more affordable and you get far better service compared to MWEB. They took about a week to migrate the line, but I was always informed about the progress of it. Glad it's sorted now
 
Yes they are quick and regulary updating , line upgraded , should be activated soon
