Holiday In CapeTown - First Timer ....need help

Just and Update Ladies and Gentleman,

so the Cape Town trip was a success, hahah well mostly. i got the flu on upon my arrival but that was okay.. i was walking around heavily medicated.

i was staying in sea point, which was great as it was very central for most of the "touristy" stuff. The Hotel was okay( Capet Town Ritz, i wasnt expecting much, however i did have a spectacular view from my room.

i ended hiring a Polo vivo for my week stay, which was great as i could tour and move from place to place at my own leisure.

the scenery in CPT was stunning, i got a few awesome shots. I did alot of the tourist stuff, and even though it was busy, i did enjoy it. the weather bar 1 day was stunning.

the dining was great as well, the highlight being lunch at the Chef Luke Dale Roberts , The Test Kitchen.. awesome culinary experience that.

i am still in awe of Chapsman Peak Drive, i cant tell you how may times i drove it, each time was a new experience but my favorite trip was on the last 2 days when i hired an AC Cobra 5.7l Chevy V8, (holy crap i love that car, the power and looks are amazing), driving Chapmans Peak in that car is a whole new experience, you tend to see everything in a new light.

All in all, the Cape town trip was a memorable 1, i didnt get to do alot of stuff that i wanted to, but that is now just an excuse to visit again, at an off peak time hahahaha.

thanks alot to everyone for their assistance.

cheers.

Next time come end of Jan... the weather is insane right now.

sounds like you had fun

what did the trip cost ?

was real good fun, eish cost of the trip kind of got out of hand, hahaha, biggest expense was food and drinks. 2 meals a day for 7 days, and hitting the bars every evening, it sort of tallied up rather quickly.

i would put a ruff figure of R15k to R18k incl flights, hotel, car hire and the rest...
