Hi,

When completing the online application for the ID card, there is a place to complete specifying the home affairs office. What do I need to complete if I wanted to collect it at my bank? There doesn't seem to be provision for that.

Thanks

OK, if I remember correct (did mine a year ago), first you have to pay online (can't with Capitec, so I just opened a FNB Easy account online), it will appear in your online bankings efiling section to authorise, after that you can schedule an appointment at your banks supported branches (I used FNB Menlyn Square), I seem to remember that something was off about the list, not being easy to use, like it showed only as Mentlyn Square or something.

Thanks, will check it out. From the sounds of it I might be doing it wrong way around. Will check out my banking, thanks.

Please remember that you can only select an enabled brach of the bank which you use to pay. I.e if you pay with an FNB account, you can only choose an FNB (or HA) branch, and not a Nedbank branch for instance.
