I tried to go to Home Affairs in Centurion today to renew my passport only to find out that they are no longer at 1016 Kruger Avenue.

The new Home Affairs Centurion office is in West Street directly opposite the Gautrain station's vehicle entrance. Google Maps Link

While I think the move to a bigger building with more parking available is great I have to say that the way it has been done is ridiculous. :(
There was no notification posted anywhere. The Home Affairs website still lists the Centurion Office at Kruger Avenue. There wasn't even a sign up at the old Home Affairs office to notify people of the move, or that the old office is permanently closed.

The whole thing has been very poorly handled. The only reason I know it moved (and where to) is because the ID Photo guys who hang around outside the old office are directing people to the new building.

Very badly done, DHA.

The ID guy also told me. The new building is quite nice, and you can sit while you wait to apply or pick up. But when I went to pick up my ID, the aircon was off and we all had to queue outside.

Didn't you get the memo? Strange, you should have received notification of the move directly from the forefathers in a particulary graphic dream sometime during Feb like the rest of us. Maps & instructions are just counter-revolutionary!
