Home Affairs takes control

I've only been waiting for my ID since 6th May 2007 if I tell them I've been hanging on far too long now, will I go to the top of the pile?

My UK Passport seems to do the job of an ID card quite well enough...

This is the very same Home affairs department which couldn't understand that the parental details of the child were on the birth certificates of his parents which they had just issued.

LMAO at the FAIL insult :P *freakin priceless forum moment*

Waiting 15 months for marriage certificate , whats another year.
Tired of phoning, local office blames HO

I got my ID within 2 weeks applying (and it arrived at the local offices days earlier). I couldn't believe it.

This always amazes me...we have been waiting for my mom's ID since 13th August 2008...........phoned yesterday to say that they can now confidently tell us that the last 3 letters on her ID are 089.........it takes 13 months and an election where you are defranchised to work that out?
