Yup.

Once the card is in, you never need to touch it. You can view recorded content or even format the microSD card via the app from any where.

And you really don't need a large card - it only records on movement (a few seconds at a time). Even a an old 4GB (if you can find one is more than enough)
 
Anyone have your geyser on a sonoff? Looking to add 2 R2's - have 2 geysers...

The R2s are rated to approximately a maximum power of about 3000W - provided there is no inductive load. Anyone have an success with the POWs and smaller geysers?
 
Strikes me someone should chat to itead and get them to make a 20 amp switch. There's certainly demand.

Can you see anywhere whether the camera's feed is available outside the app? I.e. Does it have ONVIF support?

I'm interested in using these for my father in law's place but with a Hikvision NVR.

He actually asked them a few months back and the answer was pretty ambiguous. The reply was that all Hikvision cameras do support ONVIF,

The entire conversation was around EZVIZ cameras though, and this individual deals with EZVIZ. I'd be inclined to say it does ... But I haven't tested or found anything in writing on the net.

Easy to check?

That's what I would hope, but there's really little to no information out there.

It doesn't help that Hikvision's normal cameras support the Ezviz cloud service - completely separate from whether you have an Ezviz camera. So all the guides and forum posts I found is around setting up ezviz cloud access with normal Hikvision cameras.


There was one or two posts saying that ezviz isn't an ONVIF camera but also some guys managing to get it working with iSpy, so who knows.
