If I have two switches to one set of lights how would the shelly work with that? Must bridge one of them?
The main reason I went off eWelink was that if the Internet had issues, all my control was gone, but it seems like the newer firmware allows for LAN control? So to end this I need to switch to Tasmota? I'm hoping Itead's helpdesk comes up with a solution so I can stay with eWelink

Does anyone use anything for presence detection in a room?
And I don't mean a motion sensor but rather a persistent presence detection. Infrared temperate based I guess?
Like an alarm zone thing but without the silly light going on?
Paradox PIRS you can turn off the led if you want. Probably can with other brands to
Okay so here’s a question.
If there is a Paradox PIR in the room already could I “bridge” its wiring to get its status out to something else while it’s connected to the alarm?
And what would that something be? Does it carry power from the alarm all the way to the PIR side to run something? Or would it be done alarm side?

I believe so, my sample units are clearing customs.I might be wading into an area where I'm pretty clueless, but isn't that what konnecteds interface module does?
is your paradox alarm not connected to HA?Okay so here’s a question.

I would say no. You would need to connect the alarm panel through the prt3 module or ip150 to something for example a raspberry pi running something like home assistant or hassio. This would then give the zone status in home assistant which you can use to do automations or control pgms etc. There might be other ways to do it though but I’m not sure. What exactly are you trying to do?
There is. When I get back to my desk I'll paste for youAlso on a completely different topic I've started to fiddle with Node-Red and I've gotten the basics of putting a light on and off working.
Now my problem is there appears to be no timer function anywhere? Am I blind or is it built into something else or what?
