Just a follow up note about the Veti 2 light switches that are perfect for Sonoff's since they are flush and don't have an on/off position.

I had an issue with the single common live input, messaged Major Tech and they responded quickly. They sell it in modular 2 way switch components...So you buy the fixing frame and can either have it in either 1, 2 or 3 gang.

I went to their showroom and they were very helpful, taking time to open packing to show me everything. Now nobody would know that my lights are smart, and the toggles being the wrong way around is a thing of the past.

They also gave me a little blue led that connects to the individual modules so that you can have a light, supposedly works without neutral - but I only have the Sonoff's 3v in the wall so I don't think it will work.

I have the veti ones which are also modular and have the bottom press switch.

I'm not too happy with the quality of their plugs. Also the veti gu10 bulbs I purchased have been popping like no man's business. All around a year old and probably had about 20 pop .

These aren't high quality switches either... I'd pay double the price for double the quality easily.

Unfortunately these appear to be literally the only local option for a switch like this.
A latching switch that doesn't show any on/off position.

could prob diy a really nice push button light switch with a face plate

yeah... that was the fallback, even 3d print a nice cover and everything. But for R100 each, these will have to work for now.

They may, but a lot of these push buttons stay depressed when pushed in - which is what I don't want.
Would be a nice alternative as well though since they look good.

That's a really nice job done there... quite like that actually.
Although I wonder at what point the electrician just shakes their head in disapointment when trying to get CoC.

That's a bell press module
In my case, how would I use a bell press module with a Sonoff mini? My understanding is that bell press isn't latching, so Sonoff Mini will see one press as a on and off.

only annoyance is, you need to by the motor AND the connect device to get it connected to Home Assistant. At that point, you better off buying more than 1 of the motor/tilt devices to make it worth while. At least for now free shipping world wide, so only customs to add on top of the price.
 
i have been building my own motorised blinds, just needed time to finish it off but everything is there in theory

Just saw that now - becomes a bit expensive - R5k for two blinds, about 3x more than the Tuya ones last I saw them.
