Doesn’t a WiFi SSID come up called Sonoff or Tasmota?
Then you can easily recover it through the web interface.

Try the 40-second button hold to reset it and see if you can access the built in SSID.
Likely it’s just stuck on the minimal firmware. That’s the worst that’s ever happened to me with these things.

You can flash it easily enough just holding pins in the holes without soldering but I don’t think you’ll even need that.
usb-to-serial always works after a failed OTA flash.
None of these recovery methods worked.
I tried the 40-second hold button and also the power cycle 6 times and nothing.
The LED light on button 3 is on but the wifi light is off.
Do you guys think it's still possible to re-flash with a serial to USB adapter? And is it possible to do it solderless with a Sonoff T1?

I have no experience with the T1, first lookup how it normally is flashed, the photos should give you a good idea
Yes, you need to bridge ground + GPIO0 momentarily when powering it up to get it into flashing mode.Maybe a dumb Q but just want to get the wiring straight before I pickup the FTDI connector.

There's 4 wires from the FTDI connector and then the jumper wire from GND to GPIO0 is connected to the same GND that the FTDI is connected to?

I wouldn't even know what or how to test that.Doesn't matter, ground is the same everywhere. You can test it with a multimeter.
Doesn’t the button short the ground for you?
Can’t you just hold as you power it up as with most Sonoff things?
There is a physical button on there but none of the videos or guides say to use it. The only one I've seen where the physical button is pressed before powering on I think is the Sonoff Basic.
I'm picking up my FTDI adaptor tomorrow so let's see how I fair.
Still shouldn’t be hard to do without soldering if you have a few good wires.
And as said earlier some prestik can help, but I’ve never needed that.
I'm gonna pick up some male to male jumper wires tomorrow while I'm at it. No soldering though.
