I don't really use IFTTT - I've tried it, but I don't find the integration that out of this world. This is standard app and standard firmware - but even the Sonoff Bridge (hub) can be flashed from I hear.
Theoretically, you can use any 433Mhz PIR , door sensor or any other 433Mhz sensor really (smoke alarm, gas sensor, moisture detector). These are 3rd party from Sonoff - so they've tested them and they work. All the examples of sensors I have with me are 868Mhz - so I can't even test.
We looked at buying local 433Mhz to avoid needing to bringing in - but they are so expensive locally. I think the cheapest I've found is over R250.00 for a 433Mhz PIR with no guarantee it even works
