Can anyone advise on connecting a SV here?

Follow the diagram on the Smartkit website for connecting SV to a gate motor with a relay.
You'll likely use "Common/ Neg" and the "Trigger" terminals.

Will that power the SV though?

Nope, that's just the "output" side. You didn't really specify the whole story.

As above you'd need to power it from the 24V input and common.

Then you'd need to make it a dry contact so it doesn't pass the power to output.

Then connect the output to common and trigger.

*****

Although that looks like the 24V is coming IN to the motor there. So you'd likely want to connect the SV to wherever that is coming from. Even better directly to the battery if there is any.

So what is it powering at the moment that needs to be external? Or is there some cover taken off that is usually in place?

Previous alarm siren, and some radio transmitter - removed on the other end, just haven't removed the wiring.

Has anyone ordered fron Zinteldo yet?
Ordered a Z-wave stick on the 4th of December only got mailed an invoice with a cell number on it but no one answers and only replies to WhatsApp messages but not really answering my questions, getting the feeling I just wasted my money.

Zinteldo apparently sold up and are under new owners. They don't seem to respond to anything and I have resorted to using other suppliers.

Pity, as they were one of the best under Stephen in terms of support and queries

Picked up a funny bug with the Sonoff POWs / Tasmota, they' don't seem to rollover power usage to the next day if they're off (loadshedding) at midnight.

Currently, we've been off repeatedly 10pm to 12:30am - and the POWs are just increasing daily usage, instead of resetting to zero.

You wouldn't happen to know if this Stephen would have the new owners contact details? Those guys just ignore all my emails and calls on their provided details and I'd like to at least try to get my money back.

Yup discovered the same.

Thought it was a time zone issue at first.

Fortunately it doesn’t mess with the monthly stats, it just rolls a few days into one.
