Hi Guys,

How many of you are running a data center setup at home?

How much porn could one possibly want to store that a home data center is required?

Still in the process of setting everything up. This rack will control my home automation and my CCTV cameras ( IP cameras )
I have two dell servers that I will be running, 1 of which runs Windows server 2012 and a few VM's. The other dell server I am using for my home automation and as a plex server. I also have a PROLINE UPSI3000RT 3000VA UPS which I will be installing soon. At the moment the noise is a bit of a problem, but i am working on it. :)

I got a very similar rack setup. 5 x 2TB drives and stores all my ***. Plex server, SABnzbd and Sickbeard as well.

TomatoUSB on a RT-N66U to manage home network. 32 port switch.
1000W pure sinewave on battery backup. Keeps the rack running for quite a while.

I'm running 3 Microservers with 4 x 3Tb each.
My server box only houses the router, gigabit switch and UPS.

Not quite a DC but:

2 x NAS Servers
1 x OpenSuse server (www, dns, dhcp, ssh)
5 x R-Pi's (osmc, sickbeard, sabnzbd, home automation)
Cisco 3650 gigabit switch
Checkpoint firewall

Also another 3 android phones, 3 tablets, 2 notebooks, 3 desktops, 1 printer, 2 AP's, dsl router and a bunch of web enabled home automation sensors....and a partridge and a pear tree

Almost running out of DHCP addresses :)
