Is it best to go direct to the big banks?

Or should I rather approach SA Home Loan and/or Ooba

Any other that I should know about?

seems its quite dependent on who you get from SA Home Loan

I wouldn't go with them, simply because their rate is not linked to prime. Personal preference though.

Well if you have to ask the question then go through OOBA.

Even if you are going to go to your bank, still approach SA Homeloans even if to only use it as a counteroffer. I got a better rate from FNB via OOBA because of the deal SA Homeloans offered me.
