Hi Guys,

Have decided to build a home theater desktop which will be in my lounge, a couple of concerns please advise:

1. Would prefer an AMD chip but not sure on which,
2. 8gig of RAM overkill? (will mostly be watching -+10gig mkv video files.
3. The board has to have HDMi out, and can handle min 4x2tera drives.
4. and the most important thing is IT HAS to be super quite (being in the lounge).

My budget is R4500 without the hard drives.

Any input would be appreciated.

Look at the HP Proliant Microserver, i have one and its quiet...You will have to purchase a GFX card. But it should still be a 2000 less than your budget.
