Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem as I do..

Basically what is happening is that whenever I launch the game, I can play one game fine. However, after the game is done, my net stops working completely. If I don't do this, I will always get a "No response from server" error message in game.I gotta quit the game and wait about 5 min for it to come right. Also I cannot access my router.

This happens to me too and I took a look with Wireshark.

What seems to happen is that when you request the game list, its requested via HTTP and then a TCP connection is opened for each game listed in the response to get info about the game/ the ping /whatever. I think this is specifically for the ping requests.

Then when you try to connect to a game, the game client starts spitting out UDP packets to the hosting server until it receives a response (as in a packet every ~2-5ms).

Sometimes for some reason when this happens, my established connections continue to work (example, the HoN game I am already connected to, Teamspeak and IRC continue to work), but any new connections fail and just never get a response. Unless I already connected to the router via the Telnet interface, I then also cannot connect to the router at all. This lasts for about 5 or so minutes and then things return to normal.

I am not sure what is causing this, and I have been thinking its either the ADSL router or my Wireless card/driver.

This is definitely related to the game list requests, if I just follow people in my friends list into games this NEVER happens. But if the servers are busy and there are a large number of games up, its guarenteed to happen if I try to load the game list.

Kuga, give me some info on your setup: Operating System, router, how you connect to the router, wireless card model if any.

I have the same problem, i believe the cause of the problem to be something with the router, i have not been able to establish why as of yet, i have done a test by useing another router and i connect fine.

My router is a Zyxel P-660HW-T1 v2, i tried a random other router and it worked fine i connect staight away and then can disconnect search and reconnect again with out problems.
