Simply putting it out there.

I drove a Jazz CVT for many kms (167,00km) and I drove it like I stole it, using the seven stage paddle shift extensively.
The car was regularly serviced and the transmission oil was duly replaced at the stipulated intervals.
Never did this car ever give grief.
During all the visits to various forums, I've never heard of any major transmission disasters.

My conclusion is that the transmission is as bullet proof as the engine.
Am I wrong?
If any forum members have had a different experience, I'd like to hear from them because I always recommend this tjorrie to anyone who needs a cheap automatic transmission runaround.

My mum has an '07 Jazz 1.5 CVT as her daily. Still going strong. Iirc it's on close to 170 000 kilos on the clock.

Of course should would drive in a normal manner not like a rental.

it might be bulletproof, but its horrible slow and that CVT drone is enough to drive anybody crazy!

Not sure why it has paddle-shift, it does not really have any gears lol
