Honda HR-V

Does anyone have an idea if and when this will be released in SA?

I will definitely buy one if the price is right.

Dude besides that you get brand new more attractive; better engined & better spec crossovers than the cheapest FR-V.

Think 2008; Captur; Mokka as well as coming CX-3.

Just naming a few & I didn't even start with Juke/Puke...
 
Would rather get the Nissan qashqai or a mazda cx5 or cx3.

Interesting read.

While I think that Honda is a reliable and good car, the fact that it was sold initially side-by-side with Mrecedes Benz in South Afirca, lent it credence that it was a quality product. And this has been carried forward.
On the other hand: Mazda was a 'working class' vehicle, good value, low operating expense and a solid car.......Other than the RX2 or Capella Rotary.
Bear in mind that the Capella 1600 Sedan and the the B1600 Bakkie shared the same motor.
The marketing throb was: "Good enough for a bakkie, smooth enough for a sedan."

My preference is the the CVT transmission.
I've a Jazz and it certainly works for me.

I went to have a look at the Honda today and it is bigger than I thought it would be. The interior is very spacious and the boot is big, much bigger than the Jazz's.

I also had a look at the Renault Captur and at R290 000 for the Auto I would rather go with the Honda which is a bigger car, the Renault felt very cramped to me.

The only thing is that I don't really want to buy a brand new car.

Overall I walked away impressed. (And my wife likes the car)
