Sorry to hear, do several tests:
1. wipe it with alcohol or acetone or diesel or petrol or lighter fluid
2. it will dry quickly
3. now file your knuckle horn with fine sandpaper
4. hehe only kidding that's only valid if it is a horn (keratine)
Nothing to panic about it, but have it checked by a doc by next
week to make sure.
