I logged numerous pm's to this Cell C rep here, countless more tweets and emails to cell c...and still nothing has been fixed!
my wife and I jumped the shop from mtn and voda respectively> to cell c in october and november last year- only to find out that cell c was DEAD at my residence! and i live in the middle of FOURWAYS!
my wife has a contract, and me pre paid. i am trying to see if i can get nashua mobile to change her contract to another network at the same charges ( unlikely), and am going to hold out with my prepaid until cell c do something.

Some of the feedback i got :
1. call has been closed.
2. call has been completed.
3. i cannot find your ref.
4. the technician apparently went to the tower and did something, and then came to your house and you told him its working ( what LIES!)
5. we cannot re open your old call, so we are logging a new one..

all i want is voice coverage. i am not fighting a HSDA vs. 3G vs. EDGE battle here. I am asking for basic voice functionality!

my wife's phone is business, and she drops calls all the time, thats when it does ring! sometimes she gets beeped like a ton of sms's when she goes to the shops of missed calls and voicemails she missed while at home! her boss is getting very impatient with this, as even at her workplace its dropping!

she has the s3, i have the motorazr x910.

will cell c do nothing?? and persist to drag this on and on and on?
i'm tired of posting on other posts! i want my post responded to individually by this cell c rep.

to the rest of the readers: what are my options? CPA to cancel my wife's contract? whats the costs there? booster antenna's? etc??

Please help!

Hi,

Can you please provide me with any network reference number you might have as we need to take it up with our network team.

Have you tried phoning and/or going into a cell C store? sheesh... if it's so important to you ya'd think you'd try something like speaking to someone about it rather than leaving it to online communication?

let me see: went into the cell c store:

12 nov
20 nov
1 dec
17 december
21 december

everytime i went into a cell c store, i got the same treatment: we cannot do anything in store, we will have to log a call with you. the cell c shop person just proceeded to call the cell c call centre and do the same thing i could have done myself!

@cell c i have a few reference numbers, but i'll give you the oldest since that obviously is the one that should show how long ago this got logged:
1706292
logged 27 Nov.

there are many duplicates of the same issue on your systems, the most recent being 1741125. if they can all be merged on 1706292- that would be great.

like i said, i got some bs story about the tehcnical guys goign to the tower and warra warra and then confirmed with me all is well--- that is load of nonsense uh!

I'm watching this closely, thinking of moving over from Vodacom but worried about signal issues.

Please will you let us know what the outcome is.

i've heard that many many times now..maybe today its going to be different.
here's to being optimistic!
i'll anxiously await the feedback.

@jeremydixon not sure why cell c go all out with the data network, but forget about basic call functionality?!?! thats all my gripe is wit them at the moment.
its like having a car and the air con, sat nav and everything works: but it goes nowhere!
