Everyone has atleast one on both factions :D

I love my Horde Rogue, but I'm also inlove with my Human Warrior.
It's not really about which side, you just want to play both fields so to say.

Roll one on both, it's the people on one side that will keep you there, not the Faction ;)

Screw having toons on both sides, the alliance and their little kiDDies can go jump! :p

yea ok lol so its not a crime :P just a game hehe i think ill try a ally then some day... when the spirits call.. :P hehe but ive only been playing a few months got a 63 warrior but cant play coz times up :(

"Everyone has atleast one on both factions"

Not I. At least not on my EU account anyway.
My first toon was a dorf, but I converted to Horde the first day I got stomped on by an big angry toren in Southshore.

Alliance is cool 'n all, but it really doesn't have that whole "FOR THE HORDE!" feeling of pride and cameraderie. Where Alliance is a disconnected set of individuals or groups of individuals, the Horde 'feels' entirely united in purpose. We still get the same amount of noobs, and the whole belf thing polluted the nobility and savagery of the Horde somewhat, but there's something that sets the type of person who'd want to play a hideous zombie or inhuman orc or towering tauren, rather than a pretty nelf or 'normal' human, apart. Generally I believe people who roll horde do so to rather escape the drudgery of reality and actually roleplay being something other than human, to stand out, be different... whereas those drawn to Alliance do so for the same reason they probably hang out on Myspace - to 'fit in'.

Short version, it's almost like the goths/metalheads/punk/etc crowd rolls Horde while the pop/disco/etc crowd tend to choose Alliance.

Atleast all the "etc" groups have both :D

Been alliance since the first day, and the few times I rolled horde chars on pvp servers I found just the oppisite of what your discribing. Low level hordes seem to be more childish than Alliance, or maybe low level horde are X-alliance players?

Well, yeah, the faction experience can be subjective and varies from server to server. I'll admit, you probably get the same ratio of morons on both sides for the most part. Just ask any Horde player whose played a lot of AV.
There are some realms where you just *have* to roll Horde though (Tichondrius US), and others where Alliance is the way to go.

Brass tacks, there's no real advantage to playing Horde over Alliance or vice versa. Racials for eg were blamed for Horde PVP dominance for a long time and yet most top arena teams today are Alliance - purely because gnomes' racials are imba(best arms warrior in the game = gnome. Ironic huh?). It simply comes down to your choice of aesthetic and style.

Gnomes are like turds in long grass; you don't know they are there until you have stood on one .....

Or they have killed you and you lie down on the ground level to them.

Gnome MS warriors the most feared pvp class :p oh and they just have to have two pink pony tails.

LOL, I think it really depends on location. Some of the Horde on US servers are complete idiots, and 99% of them seem to be Kids. Yet in the EU, its the otherway around?

My guild orginally rolled Horde, Due to the fact that we are a neutral guild. We always roll on the losing sides team in order to bring balance. When it turned around and more people started playing Horde than Alliance, I restarted on Alliance for a purely RP stand point and how we play the game.

So the Roleplay thing really depends on person to person. You could have somebody who is as ugly as hell and actually looks like an undead, Who ends up playing a pretty human for the roleplaying aspect :)
