Hi Everyone

I need to know what you think about Hosting my exchange server, first of all Im not to clued up on exchange and god forbid something goes wrong here i will not be able to recover, and as you know exchange is a a complex part of any IT persons life

I see it this way backups are done and i dont have to worry about it
if it ever fails they can restore
i dont need servers on site for this
etc etc etc

What are your thoughts ?

Dont bother. Just use Office365, works out cheaper. Get a 50GB Mailbox that backed up every 12 hours.

Hi,

I can give you all the pros and cons if you really need it.

Actively involved with onsite Exchange, Hosted Exchange and 365 on a daily basis.

Go for 365 as MsTL said.

If you want to have quick run down, PM me

But doing it yourself feels better(more in control of the serup and your data) Exchange not that difficult.

IT seems we have 365 exchange i use the Exchange Admin center to make changes

Very confusing

Agreed, Office 365 is a better option. Too much hassle to host it self. Google Apps is another great platform.

You should not... Exchange isn't your friend and is best outsourced for 99.99% of companies

exchange suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks and you'll be spending too much time, money and effort in debugging crap and keeping the server up. office365 if you HAVE to have exchange
