Hot Vista

My Vista (VUE) install has gone on the blink for some or other reason today!!

Every now and then it starts a cycle of restarts and then evertime it loads the keboard (scrolling bar), it just restarts. I then switch off the PC because it gets very HOT!!

VUE is a mem hog and makes me naar...also it cooks CPU's with all that restarting..

What temps are you getting when this occurs? It might even be a possible cause (though I doubt it...)

You sure this isn't a hardware problem?

I know making it Vistas fault is cooler and all but loading your keyboard happens before the OS is even loaded. Do you mean the bar when Vista loads?

Always blame Vista first

Or wait for Service Pack 1.
