Facebook's $19 billion WhatsApp buy has made history as the largest acquisition made by an Internet company - and makes the global chat app worth more than South Africa's largest mobile operator, Vodacom.

I can't wait to see the actual figures from WhatsApp's books, to see if that pricetag is justifiable.

One things for sure - Zuckerberg and co are gonna screw it up like they did Instagram.

I can see whatsapp being intergrated with FB chat or having all chats updated in your timeline for others to comment on or to join in.

That'll be the day I've finally had enough of it and delete my FB profile.

the day I get asked for a FB login for whatsapp I will change the satus to my email address.

and then people can use hangouts to talk to me.

mostly because I do not have a facebook login, and I will never EVER have one again. FB is a waist of time, any using it is like owning a Black berry, you are behind the times and too stupid too realise it.
