The kitchen one is handy, sometimes If i'm packing the dishwasher or the odd time I cook, I throw something on the the Apple TV to watch, usually CNN on DSTV now lol.

I just use the Google Nest Hub in the kitchen, sure it's only 7" but if you're busy in the kitchen it's fine.

We have always had only one and intend to keep it that way. I'd definitely never put a television in my children's room. I see no reason why they'd need their own television.

With an open plan living area/lounge/kitchen and no dedicated study, if you feel comfortable with a 12 and 15 year old dancing and listening to Tiktok/YouTube/Netflix whenever they get home from school, you're a much braver man than I am...

I bit the bullet and got them each a TV for their rooms because I used the kitchen nook to work.

It doesn't help that my kids are extremely indoorsy and prefer each other's company over that of friends. That and during the period when most classes were remote kind of forced my hand (and wallet).

Same for us. 65 CX OLED is enough.

Have a 32 Samsung LCD for CCTV in kitchen but there is a firestick connected to it should we so inclined. Netflix and YouTube normally


Do iPads count? 12.9 and iPad 11 pro is used often if really cold and we can't be bothered to sit in lounge.
