I assume the SIM is in your name? Or in who's name was the SIM RICA'ed?

After all a child/minor cannot enter into a contract (even a pre-paid one) with a service provider. Thus the onus is on you to educate him correctly and not to accept any offers.

Anyhow, clicking ANY link in an SMS is a big no.

Ok, so the issue is that Vodacom is not stopping with spam when instructed to do so. Has nothing to do with a minor being in the picture.
I think you probably agreed to this marketing when you signed up, but you should be able to follow the normal complaints process, and eventually escalate to the ombud, which is where I suspect you are now.

Why not just disable all promotions via the relevant USSD codes? Then if it continues you contact MyBB staff and they do an arricle about it all.
