How can we stream sports?

for rugby why not just use RugbyPass on the Apple TV? 19$ per month or 159$ a year shows all local rugby

So for R 650 you can get

1. Netflix ($9.99)
2. Hulu ($7.99)
3. RugbyPass ($19.99)
4. Willow Cricket ($11.99)

Almost no adds, and watch what you want when you want.

PITV is pretty good too.

RUGBYPASS.COM is available in the following territories: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

So yes, you would need a VPN service to be able to watch from SA.

Ripper iptv has around 8 Hd f1 channels, watched Austrian for a couple minutes and quality was hd.

Ended up paying for 3 months of Ripperiptv , went with the Entertainment package at R88 p/m.
So far so good, has huge selection of UK, US and Canadian channels, no sport on this package.
Cancelled my Showmax account.
Kids love it as there's 24/7 paw patrol and the whole Nicolodean packages from UK, US, CA.

Quality isn't bad considering what I'm paying, iplaytv says most channels are 1080p stream and 25fps.
Sony AMP detects 5.1 on some channels.

Negatives:
During peak hours it would lose connection for 3 seconds or so , not often but can be annoying.
Also told that when football or major sporting events are on there can be issues.
Adverts, jeez the adverts everywhere.

Otherwise so far so good.
 
Credit where it's due, the support from the RipperIPTV is very fast, they seem to be on the same time line as us. UK.
Seems the guy offers services from Mega (lots of international channels 13000+) and from FabTV (less channels but streaming quality is better)

After 8pm the last two nights I have been having dropouts whilst watching most channels DIY network, Animal Planet HD, Discovery HD, Fox HD etc, same as when there's a storm whilst watching DSTV where it goes all pixelly.

Emailed support and we reset, tried another DNS etc which improved things.
Currently google dns works better than Vox for some reason.

Messaged them this morning asking them if they can switch me over to FabIpTV, less channels, better quality and apparently less issues so hopefully they can.
 
IpTv was going well until some Ddos attack then everything went to krap.

Was enjoying animal planet , discovery and diy network.

Will be looking for a new ip tv service.
 
So almost a month in , there where some issues last month but things are back to normal.
Weekends and mornings are 100%, most channels like Discovery HD CA and US, UK all work well.

Only gripe I have is come 7 pm I get channels going offline and buffering so have to switch over to htpc, netflix, showmax.

Very annoying as there are some nice shows at that time and its our prime time viewing.
 
must say im loving flawless iptv, had plenty of buffering issues with the smartiptv app on my webos smart tv but then i got a proper minix android box with perfect player and now my life is complete smooth as butter tv at any quality.

Besides buffering at times the constant round of adverts has put me off for a renewal.

Good afternoon,

Just an added on question with regards to FabTv and Ripper IPTV and its sport. I'm assuming the sports channels cover all international sport, but what about local like Currie Cup and SuperRugby and SA Cricket related matches? If i missed it in previous posts please refer.

It depends. If it is picked up by BT sports or Sky or TSN from Canada then it is shown. More likely super rugby than currie cup. Sometimes the streams can be poor.. I've had it be unwatchable once in the last two weeks, for wed nights champs league but otherwise there are streams.

Btw I've seen the local ram slam t20 cricket shown sometimes on skysports when they have space I guess
 
I'm using an app on iPad called Slick TV I sideloaded, has tons of sports channels and the nice thing about it is the channels load up right away.
Cons: No sound
Cant get it onto the apple TV unless I activate mirroring and that isn't really pleasant.
 
... Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for The Cape Epic and Tour De France...

Wish DSTV did a sport set of channels/suscription only.
