How do I cleaning dust?

You can pop all the keys of your keyboard, and put them in a bag or some socks - and wash in the washing machine with washing powder... it cleans the keys very well.

The inside of the keyboard will be disgusting! So vacuum it out!

+1 for this - works very well.

I use a vacuum on the insode of the PC and then blow it out with compressed air. Also currently using sealing membrance from the local hardware store of the filters - cheap and works brilliantly!

A proper blower (or compressor) and a paint brush. Just make sure you keep the fans from rotating while using the blower.

Personally I use a brand new paint brush, lots of bristles and about 5cm in diameter. I can get into all the little spaces of fans and stuff and leaves no marks or residue. Just be careful not to be to forceful on the parts. I use about 3 different sized brushes and they do the job perfectly. But this is mainly for cleaning individual parts. Other than that compressed air is best.

I visit clients at their offices it's going to be a bit difficult carrying a dishwasher around ... any other suggestions?

Just get some wet-wipes. Unplug the keyboard and give it a good wipe down before you use it.

I do it at uni all the time, people can be quite disgusting and unclean :(
