I have a similar problem. My neighbour across the road has three huge trees and every time we have gale force winds, I start stressing that the ****ers will fall on my house!

Unfortunately killing a tree will not make it disappear, it will only remove the leaves. That may or may not achieve your goal. If it's a deciduous tree, wait a few weeks and winter will do that for you.

Yes, but you selfishly want to deprive your neighbour of a tree, which may bring them joy and/or use.. doesn't matter how many trees you plant, it will not make it up to your neighbour..
That's kak. I will have to pay excess should one of those trees fall on my roof. In my case, the people living there are renting so they have no say.

And they don't want to give me the owner's contact details.

You do realise that these are two completely separate issues..? A tree falling over and destroying a house or potentially killing someone is a far cry from the tree simply blocking a LTE signal..

Different problems with different solutions, neither of which involves killing the tree without consent.. not that killing the tree is at all a solution to your problem.. That would make it 100% worse, since a dead tree would shed limbs or fall over much easier and at much lower wind speeds, than a tree that is still alive..

And after you poison it it falls on property, someone or other assets.

How far is the tree from your Fence? Can you dig to the roots? Any pipe lines around there?

Killing a large tree is a sin against nature. There must be a way around the antenna problem. As for the falling trees not sure but I also worry about a large golden oak in my back yard which has survived a lightning strike.
