That's kak. I will have to pay excess should one of those trees fall on my roof. In my case, the people living there are renting so they have no say.

And they don't want to give me the owner's contact details.

Clearly the trees were not a worry when you bought, or did you buy so long ago that they have grown so huge?

I was getting desperate because my lease at the previous place was about to run out and the wife and I could just not agree on a place. We wanted to live in this area and as soon as my house was completed and advertised we came to view and signed the OTP.

To be honest I didn't even think about the trees. It only crossed my mind a few days after we moved in that these ****ing trees are a risk.

Doesn't ringing a tree kill it? No need to use nasty toxic chemicals.

I saw a guy, had drill a hole in the tree, add some muti. tree died on the inside , but grow around it. Then one day, just before easter a wind came , blow the tree over, damaged the roof and rain damaged the ceiling, family was on holiday. I was there , saw the center of the tree dead where the muti was inserted.

It is right in the way of my LTE tower .
Saw this on Google , can it be this easy

PS. I promise I will plant 5 new trees
Thanks! The neighbour behind me and one on the left have syringa trees. My neighbour behind me has his growing right up along the back wall within 1.5m of our flatlet. I need to be able to kill it without him realising it was me.
This will help.

Hi guys,

my neighbour has a big ass LTE tower he put up (it is actually tiny compared to his head) and struggling to get signal. He blames it on my 850 year old tree. I think it is because he is on Rain.

Anyways, I suspect he is trying to kill my 850 year old tree in my garden as I noticed some oily chemicals that also smell similar to petrol.

Any advice on what I can do and make his internet life hell?

Regards
Angry Neighbour

:p

LOL killing a tree for LTE signal. A brave new world. Don't worry tho guys, nature can always take a hit so you can enjoy your DSTv and internets. Don't stress about it, I'm sure someone is replacing the tree somewhere that you killed.

Killing a large tree is a sin against nature. There must be a way around the antenna problem. As for the falling trees not sure but I also worry about a large golden oak in my back yard which has survived a lightning strike.

It is just ONE tree. Why don't you plant 2 trees in memory of it. Nature win.

Bet you didn't say that when nature took a hit so that your house could be built
So reasons don't matter? Cutting down a tree to build a home is the same merit as killing a tree for your LTE signal?
