How do I verify a PayPal account?

Hi, Please can someone advise how the heck a person verifies their PayPal account? This has driven the wife and I nuts for several weeks now. She has an FNB account and has opened a PayPal account, we have completed all the steps that we can find on PayPal and been to FNB online banking to link the PayPal account, we get to the point where the FNB form redirects us to PayPal but once on PayPal we cannot see where or how to 'verify' the damn account! Any help will be most appreciated. Thanks.

I remember having to link my credit card. They charged me a fee and on my statement there was a code I had to type in to verify my account. They then reversed the fee.

Go to the CC you linked on paypal site where it will give you the option to verify ,then after a day or so from memory it will show a code on your FNB CC statement that you then go back & use to verify the CC on the PP site

This is what they do once you add it. Just like Zapper and the like. They reverse the charge, IRRC, PayPal does a $2 charge which is then charged back.
