Cobian Backup/Reflector for my backups. On to a secondary disk in the machine, then one onto external. I don't trust cloud.

Work: NAS and cloud.
Personal. Cloud, but shifting back to NAS/Synology. Google has no plan above 200GB that fits my pocket. For R1800 per year I can roll my own backups thank you very much and buy extra capacity every year.

My work laptop to an external HDD, personal stuff is to the cloud, I want to get a NAS though so I have backup on NAS and Cloud.

Two PCs that are backups of each other, network storage, two external drives which get cycled each week, and online (non-cloud) storage. That's six copies for the TRULY important stuff, which is far less than most people would think.

The slightly less important stuff (eg, photos) is backed up to network storage and cloud, and the really unimportant stuff (easily replaceable) is just network.

I still got an old Tape Drive in the garage. I wonder if it works.

Other:
My system:
1. Win 10 on 256 GB SSD - OS and software only, contains no saved data
2. 1 TB data-only drive
3. 500GB Windows File backup drive

Furthermore:
4. All movies to be watched later is immediately removed from PC and stored on a 2 TB EXT HDD, plugged into SMART TV
5. Any/all important data stored on 2TB NAS
6. Variety of memory sticks containing OS, start-up/recovery software, my standard installation software

I have multiple backups. Cloud storage, offline storage, multiple devices.

3-2-1

3, 2, 1 HIT BACKUP!!!

i backup to one drive and Gdrive.
I also have version control on my doc's.

Photos and documents - Google Drive
Documents only - OneDrive
OS drive with all my documents - Acronis

Very important projects: a copy on offsite NAS (RAID 1), a copy on an on-site NAS (RAID 5). A copy on a safe stored SSD as well as on a spinner. Then also a copy in the cloud. We charge our clients a fee to keep their project data. If I’m travelling I use a mini NAS that upstreams to a cloud drive automatically, plus duplicates of assets shared between team members.

I've got news Mister, there have been reports of the coldest winter in years.. So no fear of global heating.. It's actually global colding..
It's not *just* Global Warming, that's a symptom of Climate change, along with the extra Hurricanes,Excessive cold, thunderstorms etc
