I can see this happening in the future for complexes and estates, makes more sense to centralise the backup power - and figure out a clever way to limit the load and somehow recoup the cost - probably a smart meter of some sorts and a small modification to each home's power supplyWe run gas in the kitchen, solar geyser and inverter powers Wifi, entertainment system and a few strategic lamps. We have entered into negotiations with our BC to be the test property for a solar program in our estate.
